Breast cancer (BCa) patients who present at clinic with elevated circulating LDL-cholesterol have poor prognosis, whilst pharmacological and lifestyle interventions that lower circulating cholesterol (statins, exercise, low saturated fat intake etc.) are associated with better treatment efficacy.
